A message to KBK customers regarding Coronavirus

Given the unprecedented situation regarding Coronavirus, we wanted to let you know the measures we are taking to keep our customers and colleagues as safe as possible.

The health and wellbeing of both our customers and colleagues has, and will continue to be, our highest priority. We are committed to following official guidance from the government, ensuring that all of our policies and procedures reflect the best available information and advice as it continues to develop.

Our Meal Prep Service

At a time such as this, the service that we offer is in high demand. This is particularly prevalent with individuals that are self-isolating and working from home. We recognise the importance of continuing to provide our service to the highest standards possible over the coming weeks and months.

All of our food is prepared fresh on premises, meaning that hand washing is inherent in the way we do things. We pride ourselves on high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the business, and we have taken every opportunity to remind our teams to follow the robust procedures that are already in place. We have also increased our monitoring of these procedures to ensure they are followed correctly.

We ask that all customers who receive deliveries via DPD to update their ‘safe place’ using the DPD app, so that the drivers can perform no contact deliveries where required. For customers that receive deliveries directly from KBK, our drivers have been briefed to observe no contact deliveries where possible.

If any of our collection customers would like to discuss delivery options of their preps, please contact us, however collections can continue as normal from our Ancoats store and HQ facility.

Keeping you updated

The Coronavirus is a dynamic situation and things are changing daily. We will continue to monitor it closely, continually reviewing new developments and government guidance. We will update you on any additional changes as soon as we can.

As a business, we are implementing plans and strategies that will allow us to continue to provide our customers with meal prep throughout the uncertainty of the coming weeks and months.
